Mystic ice cream

On 466A past Burke's BBQ little strip mall on right.
They have home made adult ice cream (made with liquor) as well as reg, home made ice cream, also serves Cappicino coffee.
Karaoke on Fri nights 6:30pm. Place is a throw back to the 60's including the owner who is adult hippie dressed in tie-dye shirt and bandanna, has no voice but loves to sing and knows every song possible. Entire staff is very friendly. The place is very laid back everyone is friendly. My group and I had a blast..Try it you'll like it..

I agree great new ice cream flavors. Really worth a try. People are all very nice. It's a nice place to take people who are visiting, as it's very unique.

Love Mystic! One place I am glad is not golf cart accessible, if it was I would be bigger than I am. Great ice cream!

$6 for a big bowl in a fresh waffle cone bowl. Enough to share. So good you won't want to share.

Re: Karaoke...Why is it that people with the best voices sing the least, but people with the worst sing the most?! <g>

That said, the Mystic ice cream parlor is a real "yummy" treat and great bargain at $6. But don't tell anybody; it's a secret (shhhh).

I had a tough time watching the hippie generation in the 60's don't think I want to go back even for good ice cream. I just enjoy my ambrosia

dgammon6 11-18-2013 05:12 PM

The night we were there the owner performed awesome magic tricks.

OpusX1 11-18-2013 06:03 PM

Just for your info. Most of the flavors have liquor in them. The shop has a liquor license. The rum raisin has a nice kick :)

We were there for the karaoke last Friday. Were you there? Were you one of the singers? We had a great time.

Doesn't the owner post here? Tom Harmon? I thought I met him at Crispers. I could be wrong. I keep meaning to go there for adult ice cream.

Just for the record...This ice cream parlor has several "non-liquor" flavors of ice cream. It's your choice. Same price ($6) gets you either, to my recollection.

Gene & Kathy,
Very satisfied customers of Mystic

If you remember the 60s, you weren't there.

Awesome place! Great ice cream, great decor. I also heard that they will come to your house to cater for parties!

mmac321 11-20-2013 07:42 AM

I think they also serve coffee's now too.

When I was there last Friday, there was a sign on the table that for a party of 50 or more, they would cater with unlimited ice cream for $6 per person. Sounds reasonable. Also, Skip is right. They do NOT have a liquor license. We were unable to bring in the bottle of wine that we had brought.

Tom is not the owner. The owners name is Jeff. People make that mistake because they do look a bit alike and Tom's avatar is a photo of him with two Pina Coladas which look like ice cream cones.
