Please please help!!!!! Need recommendations for a landscaper!
 

Please.......recommendations for a landscaper! We just bought a home in Collier and want to have the landscape done. Need a company who is going to return calls......and show up when they say they will. We have already struck out twice. The second one did at least show and took pics and measurements. After that nothing......and I tried to call back twice leaving messages. Don't know what to do now. Suggestions??????

We used McGown landscaping and they did a great job. Give Sabrina a call.

My neighbors have had really good results from Stellar.

Stellar is mid-way through re-doing our Landscaping and so far we are very happy! Chris is very professional and seems personally interested in doing a great job.

Nash Landscaping, highly recommend from the previous owners of our villa. We have used them and are very satisfied .

The correct spelling is Arredondo Landscape Design. They did our place in Fernandina - the job was well done and the price was right.. ...... the phone number is 352-461-8161 and usually Sylvia will answer. Its a family affair. Good Luck!

Another two thumbs up for Sabrina at McGowan - very pleased with their work.

Researched many contractors, plantings, designs and picked Wendy at Village Palms. Her creativity and use of a mixture on hard scape to show off specimens and plantings was unique and very pleasing. We get compliments often from passer byers!

KB did a great job for us

We just used Qualtiy Lawn Services (not just a lawn care company) and couldn't be happier. Jeana and Robert presented a wonderful design and followed through by doing exactly what they said they would do in even less time and for exactly what they said it would cost. Wish all of our vendor experiences went as well.

Highly recommend McGowan's! Family owned, honest price, very hard working crew, and great follow up service. Many of our neighbors have used her.

Opps only one picture got attached to my last post. That is the outdoor patio she did for us (upside down). The landscaping she did turned out great.

McGowan landscaped our CYV front yard last March and here's a photo taken in August. We had the standard front with 6' of grass at the curb and everything was removed, all existing grass and shrubs were taken out. New irrigation was installed along with every rock, plant, tree and retaining wall all done in one day.

We used Terrascape on CR 301 south of CR 466. We needed extensive landscaping and rocks, shrubs and trees, both front and back yards. We used Terrascape because they were very professional, and we could pick our own trees and plants at their large nursery. We picked a lovely double Sylvester Palm tree for our front lawn.

Village Palms came to our house and promised to provide an estimate within a few days. We followed up with them a week later. Again, they promised us an estimate. We never heard from them at all, I guess they got busy.

If we were landscaping now, we would definitely get as estimate from Stellar. They do a great job for us on lawn care and pest control.

Another vote for STELLAR. We use them at 3393 Brandywine Ct. in Collier. Ride by and take a look.

I of course would recommend Mansfield Landscaping! As everyone knows I promote him here on TOTV.

That being said.... If you chose not to use him. I would also promote Ron"s Landscaping and KGL! All three advertise on TOTV and their numbers are listed. They have all been around for a long time and will be there for you if you have trouble. They all do great work and stand behind their work. I'm seeing a lot of names on here who have come into The Villages recently to make money... Be careful.... The work can look great right after they do it. The question is will they stand behind it. Stick with the landscapers who have been here and will be here for you if you need them.

Jamie's just finished our new patio with a knee wall in the Village of Gilchrist not far from the Gilchrist gate backing up to Pinellas. The wall has 3 columns with a flag pole in the middle..We think it's the best landscaped yard on the street thanks to Jamie & his crew!

Agree on Nash. Just mom and pop. Nice people, and reliable.

What ever you do , don't rush it. The landscapers down here are booming so it might be difficult to get one right away. You have time. Get at least 3 bids before you decide on anything. They get big bucks for landscaping so take your time and make sure .

Our neighborhood is using Evergreen. The homes they have done are beautiful and they work fast.

Don't use Tuff It, They are cheap and you pay for what you get!

Is a knee wall a couple of feet high? I think I've seen them around, surrounding a flagstone patio, and I really like them. Did you have to get ARC approval? Thanks Bosofan.

Had Stellar do a small landscape job earlier this week & we are very pleased.

Jaimie's Landscaping 352-308-7412 worked out well for us. He has an eye for design so you will be happy with his ideas. And Jamie has someone in an office to follow-up on calls via e-mail or phone so you are kept up-to-date things (her name is Sunny, who is very nice). Good Luck
