What restaraunts are open for breakfast that are golf cart accessible? Any part in the villages, looking for a place to go after early morning golf.

I was always curious as to why some, if not most of the country clubs in the villages did not have a breakfast service during the week. It made no sense to me why golfers would be encouraged to have to leave the country club to eat. I would assume it's the economy. I remember every town I lived in or military base I was at had breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus and a bar at their country clubs.

Glenview and Lopez pool have breakfast. Denny's has breakfast. Beef O'Brady's in Mulberry has breakfast.

If you cannot find a cart accessible place for breakfast you are not looking hard enough.

It's really easier than waiting for a lot of responses. Any time I have a question like that I go the the Gourmet Club's Search Page. At 3a - select "In The Villages" and at 4a - select "Serves Breakfast". Then hit the Search Button. The site came back with 25 restaurants, all golf cart accessible, in The Villages that serves breakfast in some form or another.

That's a lot more than the few places people mentioned here.

So in less than a month you can try a new one every day and come back here and tell us which ones you liked the best. We'll be waiting.

Prefer Perkins over Bob Evans.

Nope and before anyone pops in with the usual TOTV question, I'll beat them to it...

Where is Bob Evans?

(Rhetorical - don't answer)

I think Bob Evans has the best sausage gravy for biscuits and gravy....and they are not stingy with the amount!!!

Skip, love the website, thanks for sharing.

Yes. Definately Bob Evans biscuits and gravy as well as their other items. Cracker barrel also. Hackensack country club has a great Buffett on Sundays. We were there today actually. Their biscuits and gravy are pretty darn good as well as the best bacon.

Seems we use it every day to find out what's new in the "Dining Out Department" around here and even into Orlando too. Just look at all the restaurants there are along that short strip of W. Sand Lake Rd.

To find them, use the Search Page and put the words Restaurant Row in part 4b for Restaurant Descriptions (second box).

Just amazing!

I can't believe I said Hackensack. I meant to say Hacienda.

A new place opened recently on 441/27 next to the Hallmark Store

NotGolfer 01-14-2014 11:06 PM

Panera, Bob Evans, TooJays, First Watch, Sonrise, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks (depends on what you want to eat of course) and probably more but I can't think of them right now!
