"Alone Time" in my bathroom
 

' "Alone Time" in my bathroom'.....posted on Facebook by my cousin, who is a pet-lover (can you relate?)

My son can. He got up in the middle of the night to..... well, you know.

The dog was sleeping by the toilet. He figured, the dog, must have sensed it was cool, by the toilet. Who knew???? :D

BTW - He is never alone, as the dog follows him, all around the house. :smiley:

Quirk. THAT look would stop all peristalsis in it's tracks for me, the shy...umm...I have to be ALONE at certain times. Ya know?


It was probably due to early and rigid potty training in the 40's.

Can I relate? Nope, can't say I do! Don't hang in the bathroom... don't look like Lonesome George! So nope... can't relate... no siree! :D

I never typed it before. Is it spelled right? I TRY NOT to think about it.

Now, can you figure out what "reverse peristalsis" means?

I thought I had a good vocabulary, but that word stumped me. :D

One of my Afghans would not only follow me to the bathroom but lay his head on my knee expecting me to pet while I was trying to relieve myself. If I managed to get inside without him, he would scratch the door and whine the entire time I was in there. Worse, he would stick is head in the shower to make sure I was safe. So, can totally relate.

I have never had a cat that didn't accompany me to the bathroom. In fact my first cat (Siamese, female) watched so many times that she finally decided to try it for herself. I saw her perched on the seat peeing into the toilet. She never learned to flush tho.

Now, I do have a question, why would anyone admit to taking their phone/camera to the bathroom? Heck of a way while away time while seated on that throne.

oh LOL, Quirky! I thought the post was about YOU! It's a puppy! Actually there is often a festival of fur in my bathroom, as the animals know I'm a sitting duck. But nobody's alone, as you have said! and I never take photos while my pants...well never mind.

This reminded me of many years ago when a controversial radio personality worked at a local station and used to have listeners call in and flush their toilets with their phones close to the bowl. He would then critique it on how good or bad the flush impressed him. It was in conjunction to a feature he called "Blow me up Tom" or "Take me out Tom" where he would play a flush of his own to get rid of callers or upon their request that their call be terminated in that manner. Also your never alone if you carry your "phone" into the bathroom...Just saying!

peristalsis is like the wave only its happening without you jumping up and down in a stadium.
