Well, that is a crock of.....

There's this... but it's Urban Dictionary. Is there any sort of truth to this?

...the term "a crock of ****" derives from an ancient Roman custom that coincidentally took place in Roman times. It referred literally to a pot into which people would excrete if they were particularly bored by whichever freelance philosoper happened to be talking rubbish at the time. The Roman empire employed crock-monitors who were each assigned to a philosopher, and it was their job to monitor the pot (or crock). Should the crock become full, it would be presented to the philospher, who was obliged, by law, to announce that it bore a remarkable resembence to himself, thus proclaiming he was full of crap and was, in fact, talking a crock of ****. "I am talking a crock of ****", Socretes 429 BC

Gators is claiming on FB to have ALL the games this weekend. Should be a busy night for them.

If she shows up. Looks like the game is being shown on NBC in Miami and Kansas City.

The Weather Channel has a reporter there. He was interviewing some of the tailgaters already in line. He will probably show the weather there in KC tonight.

Bills vs Steelers game has been postponed to Monday in Buffalo. As far as I know, Chiefs vs Dolphins is still a go on Peacock.

So far. NFL spokesperson said they are not moving it either to a warmer stadium nor to another warmer time.

Hopefully, the national viewership ratings will de dismal to discourage this in the future. Unfortunately, like it or not, streaming is the future and there will be no hiding from it. Being a sports fan, and wanting continued access to my favorite sporting events, is the hardest part of cutting the cord.

Many Amex cards have an offer for a free month of Peacock. Check your card. Sign up then cancel

Same here.
I'm on the fence on cutting the cord but not sure how much sports I'll loose.

Hulu Live or YouTube TV will give you your local stations.

NFL Sunday ticket is available with YouTube TV and gives you more football than you have now.

Amazon Prime and Peacock are available with streaming for the few "streaming-only" games the NFL has now.

It looks like there are MLB and NBA packages similar to NFL Sunday Ticket and ESPN+ is advertising NHL games.

suppose.tv can help you see what packages are required to get the channels you want along with their price.

What did you replace it with?

It only cost $6 to watch the game (commercial break right now)-You sign up for Peacock at $5.99 a month and it's cancellable anytime without penalty. You just can't forget to cancel it. Which I'll do immediately after the game- looks like KC has it under control at 19-7 with 3 minutes left in the third quarter.
