Talk of The Villages Florida - Senior Dog Looking For Loving Home

Tiny (see photos below) is with Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida and is available for adoption.

He is a sweet, adorable, and lovable fur ball. He is blind, but that doesn’t seem to keep him from being a normal dog. Tiny quickly learns how to get around a new environment without bumping into walls and furniture—providing nothing is changed.

Tiny enjoys the dog park— sniffing and “looking up.” He always finds his way back to the table where his foster brother and others are sitting. It’s amazing how well he does finding his way around. He even knows exactly where to find the water bowl and has a good old time.

Tiny’s favorite place in the house is “looking out” the sliding glass door and will stand or purposely bump into it when he wants to go out on the lanai. He always manages to communicate what he needs!

His foster mom puts a little belly band on him at night to help him make it through the night without an accident. He’s a quick learner and a sweet-natured boy.

He had his vet exam, up-to-date on vaccines, and on heartworm preventative. Tiny is blind, but he gets along with other dogs. He enjoys being with his person and likes tagging along for daily adventures.
