Do an internet search using your name. In fifteen minutes you will learn the following mostly for free.
Your age, your address, your family members, your residence address for the past forty years, your phone numbers, your email, your voting preferences, what cars you own, your net worth, your annual income, your property tax, how many bathrooms in your house, your criminal record, your social media links, and if your information is on the dark web. Some of this costs $$$ to access, but most information is free.
That is why you keep getting those calls even if your on the do not call list. Those strange emails with links to Russian, Chinese , or North Koreans who are out to verify the information they have on you.
Personal information has value and your not getting a royalty for some entity putting your privacy up for sale.

"Social media" being the worst offender...they know your friends too. They know what you like. Where you eat. What you do. Where you go.

So does your phone. It tracks you constantly.
