One recent study even found that dogs can help reduce pain among patients suffering in the emergency room after just 10 minutes. They really do help when things get ruff!"

Cat guy here, but I also appreciate dogs and have had several. They do have their challenges though, here are several from direct experience.
1. The smellier it is, the more likely your pooch is to roll in it.
2. A St. Bernard puppy WILL eat your stereo if left home alone for more than four hours.
3. A warm dog is welcome on a cold Minnesota winter night. Ask any 9-year-old.
4. Skunks are fun. Just ask Rover.
5. A dog can and will eat a whole cake left on the counter. And vomit copiously immediately thereafter.
6. When your doggie shows affection by licking you, t is best NOT to think of where that tongue was just before it hit your face.
7. German shepherds eat bees.
8. Rover just might confuse a leg with a fire hydrant.
9. A Siberian Husky just might try to sing when he hears Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
10. The toughest Bull Mastiff in existence will whimper and try to crawl onto your lap in a thunderstorm.
