The Village Hangman?
 

is the Village hangman still doing business? We used him several years ago and he did a great job. Tried contacting his number today and it says number is not in service. Anyone have information? Thanks in advance.

What did he do? Wallpaper, garage doors, strung up someone that did you wrong???

He hung heavy mirrors on the wall for people. If he aged at the same rate as several of us who moved here 15 years ago, then he probably doesn't feel like doing it anymore.

It looks like he is around 80 years old now. He turns up a bit over the years on Talk of the Villages.

Their house was for sale last year, so I'm guessing they moved back to Ohio.

Hope he calculated tge perfect drop based on weight and height. As he is an experienced hangman, he should have made the perfect knot and positioned it properly on the neck.

Did he do his work on gallows in Brownwood or Sumter square.

I saw two hangmen hanging from a tree, but it didn't bother me at all.

We just started Hang By Us (hangbyus.com) to do mirrors, TVs, photo/art gallery walls, light fixtures, etc.

We did a major client in The Villages late April, but have returned to Ohio...sorry...

But, available on special request next Spring....
