We all have our problems.
I always found a good shower or bath gets rid of most odours. |

Dust
In my many years of repairing electronics, computers, tv's, many of them are coated with grease and caked on dust. Unplug it, give it a few minutes to calm down and take the back off and check. If it does need cleaning have someone qualified clean it.

I should’ve deleted the whole post cause the pictures wouldn’t post. It was 4 foot old fluorescent ballister that overheated got really hot. The light flickered giving me clue. When I took cover off it was extremely hot and scorched painted housing. I pulled guts out of fixture and replaced it with 4 foot LED retro kit. Easy to install, less weight, used less wattage, and brighter lights.
