oh my, what a world we live in. life in prison is acceptable, but the family may want the DP.

I’ve never believed in the death penalty, it’s usually used in such an uneven matter I mean when did you ever see a wealthy person put to death and we now see over and over people being freed many from death row because they were innocent, and yet the cries from advocates for death penalty when someone is released see the system works . Is there anyone that with all the science and exposing false testimony and forced confessions helping to free these people really believe that not one innocent hasn’t been. put to death .the worst for me is when someone waves all his appeals and wants to die , doesn’t that put the state in the assisted suicide business, something they won’t let terminal patients do, and doesn’t it also tell you that for most life in prison is worse then death penalty. I would never and I mean never want the death penalty for any murder of a family member

He is a monster and should be executed ASAP!

I have not yet seen anything that indicates ANY doubt as to his guilt. No matter if he is a mental case or not, if he is guilty of charges, then he should be put down like a rabid raccoon. I have no sympathy for sick criminals, and would give more benefit of doubt to the rabid animal.

I’m scratching my head, trying to remember a wealthy person going on a killing spree.🤔

charlieo1126@gmail.com 12-05-2021 03:44 PM

I’m not talking about one person which is obvious to anyone who read my post , I was writing about the whole issue of capital punishment and what’s wrong with the death penalty in general

PugMom 12-05-2021 03:50 PM

there are pros & cons to the dp. i'd think it's probably what the family would want, so who am i to decide? there are cases where it's warranted: Cheshire,Ct, ..the Petit home invasion. those dirtbags absolutely deserved it, and were sentenced, until the mighty dan malloy stopped the dp in Ct... you can be sure lloyd's atty used anything that would stick to the wall. it's their job.

This should not even be a question. He sat on her and shot her in the chest, killing her.

Even your family

Most inherently violent persons become repeat offenders. What would you say if your daughter was murdered by one of these persons(?) and that was then released on society to perpetrate more murders? Evil perpetrated in the heat of passion is not an excuse. I have more respect for an enemy army than a criminal that thinks it is acceptable to take a life of a defenseless victim that means no harm.
Besides, execution of evil criminals saves the taxpayer money that can be spent elsewhere.

Wrong trying to put someone to death can be up to twice as much as keeping someone in prison , because of the many appeals and safeguards that have been added to the process , common knowledge and used by many in the argument against the death penalty, but don’t take my word for it I’m sure you can goggle it.FYI a large percentage of murders 60% to 65% have some kind of personal relationship with each other , there not criminals they are murderers many with no criminal records not defending them just factoring the human frailty in many of these killing
