Shelter Almost Out of Canned Puppy Food
 
South Lake Animal League is in desperate need of canned puppy food. See their post below. You can order it on-line from Amazon.com and they ship it to the shelter. You don't even have to leave your house. Click on the link below to order. Here is the shelter's plea: "We have lots of puppies in foster, many are reaching weaning age and we are super duper low on canned puppy food (3 cans left)!. Please consider donating."

Is this the closest no kill animal shelter to The Villages? Do Villagers use this shelter as a good place to adopt dogs? Just wanting to know a little more.

Cedwards38, I don't have statistics on who all from The Villages has adopted from the shelter, but I know I got my dog there and another lady got a cat there. Great bunch of people. Really nice shelter.
