Favorite Super Bowl National Anthem performance?

List of national anthem performers at the Super Bowl - Wikipedia

Whitney Houston was very good with hers. Probably is my favorite. And we do have one tomorrow.

Reba McEntire - Wikipedia

Whitney's will most likely never be topped, even though she didn't sing it live.

I see that. Did not know that.

I prefer the song performed as it was written. This country has one national anthem. Performing it in a manner that "makes it your own" is insulting. That's not the anthem.
Absolutely hate when it's embellished with squealing, off tune sounds, incorrect pauses, extra or missing or improperly pronounced words.

Christina Aguilera, Super Bowl XLV - LOL

Totally agree.

The best one is the Air Force band rendition.

I very much enjoy every performance equally where nobody is kneeling.

Ahhh, but she did, although no one heard it.

Apparently all the Super Bowl Nation Anthem renditions, are a combination of "real" & lip sync/pre-recorded.

How often do Super Bowl halftime headliners lip-sync instead of singing live? [Video]

Absolutely! And while I don't think she ever did it at the Super Bowl, "nobody does it better" than Jackie Evancho.
