Culvers

I decided it was time to try the new Culvers on 466a. I ordered the Deluxe Double with fries & Diet Pepsi $10.59. (I get Diet because it erases all the food calories). This was my first time ever in a Culvers and I was very pleased. The burger was very good and they bring it right to your table. Satisfied customer! :icon_hungry:

Culver's ranks toward the top of the fast-food ladder, in my opinion. Not as good as Chick-Fil-A (what chain is?) but well up there.

Today was our first time as well. Deluxe doubles, fries for me, onion rings for DW, 1 Pepsi, 1 Dr Pepper. Add two more satisfied customers.

We always get the COD, whether its the meal or sandwich. We've always had a great experience at this location and the one on 466.

People from the Frozen North (Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois) have known about Culver's for years. When the first one opened, we Northerners ordered so much the custard machines couldn't keep up. At one point there was over an hour wait for frozen deliciousness!

Welcome to the Culver's fan club, folks!

I let you know about a year ago about The Concrete Mixers. We went there tonight at the height of the downpour. That’s the power that Culver’s has. Now I need to get into a recovery program to beat the Culver’s problem. Is really good there.

I think Culvers has the best fish sandwich in the business. Wendy's used to have a good one around Easter but I think it's gone downhill a bit. The rest of the fast food joints aren't even a close third.

Culvers also occasionally has freshwater perch sandwiches as well as the cod. They're a nice change, especially for folks raised around the Great Lakes.

I like Culver's chicken strips better than Chic-Fil-a. And the concrete mixers are amazing!

I’m not much for fast food but I tried Culver’s twice ,once burger with just lettuce and tomato nothing else on it same with chicken sandwich I found both of them a little dry and not much flavor , I’ll stick to the $14 and $15 burgers at some of the restaurants around here when it comes to Culver’s you get what you pay for , the same goes for the more expensive one , every one likes what they like so I don’t need to be jumped on for not loving Culver’s I know it’s probably a sin to criticize an institution lol

Have never tried Culvers. Heard rave reviews and so-so reviews. Will give it a try one day

But this is the first review I read that was a paragraph long...one whole sentence.

We are originally from Illinois and had Culvers in our backyard for several years. We haven’t tried Trailwinds store yet but have the 466 store three or four times. We both agree the 466 Culvers was a bit less desirable than our Illinois store and we noticed a bit “trashy” on our last visit. It could be a lack of staff or onsite management so gave them the “benefit of doubt” that time around. Maybe a bit biased as we were used to a Culvers that seems to operate like a “well oiled machine”.
When the weather changes, I recommend Culvers Chili. We will Give Culvers at Trailwinds a visit soon.

A triple mushroom and Swiss burger cannot be deemed "dry" by any means. If you have someone that has a Gluten allergy, Culvers will sell you a cellophane wrapped/sealed hamburger roll so that you can put your burger on an uncontaminated roll. They also honor our veterans with a nice discount. The Villages is the first place where I have heard of Culvers and I am glad I did. Steak and Shake used to be my favorite.

Jimbob the Newbie 10-05-2022 11:01 AM

Culver's also will give a discount to seniors. All you have to do is ask them for it!
