RMD transfered to Charitable Gift Annuity, Lifetime payout, looks attractive
This is a new feature, that appears fully credible:
IRA RMD is transfered to a lifetime annuity payout, since going to a chairtable organization there are no taxes on the RMD. Thus big savings pending your tax bracket. Intererst rate earned around 5-9% pending your age. See Article below, one of many. This is from Mayo Clinic which is one of many organizations that offer such. I am not advertising for Mayo, just sharing the concept. Anyone have any experience with this? Charitable Gift Annuities | Mayo Clinic |

Another way you can lower your tax bracket significantly is to give away all your money. This makes about as much sense to me.
