Would you tolerate snow instead of sun on your cruise? This photo taken by Robert Neal Marshalll is from the Queen Mary 2 in New York. #Cunard #QM2 in the snow today. Thank you to Robert Neal Marshall for the image! https://scontent-b-atl.xx.fbcdn.net/...67538162_n.jpg |
Somehow that picture is not only hurting my eyes, it is hurting my argument with my husband that we are due for a cruise... Need some cruise pictures with bikinis on the deck !!
|
IMO; Wrong season to be take a cruise with that port of call!
|
Net shows it is in route from New York to Southampton England. January in the North Atlantic Brrrrr. We did the crossing in Sept on the QE2 years back and the weather was really bad waves over the top of the ship I can't imagine going in January.

Sorry added emotion and it posted twice |
Yes, I would like to be on that cruise. I prefer the cold and snow to hot and humid. In cold weather I can put on enough layers to stay warm and toasty, in warm weather I can not take off enough layers to stay comfortable - and not be a sore to one's eyes.
I do not think we have any pics of slinky girls in bikinis - sorry. |

what is it called when one's vision of something gets completely destroyed?
Cruise ships with snow is an image my tender eye balls and memory do not need. Now I am incapacitated for the rest of the day trying to "delete" that image. I think I am going to be sick! |
Oh, Hell no!
|
I just realized they had to all go out on deck for the boat drill after leaving NY harbor. Slip sliding away.
|
The last 3 cruises I have had on Celebrity (all in warm places) had their emergency drills held inside the ship. All the cabins had muster stations posted on the inside of the doors (theater, Michael's Club, casino, etc) and you just had to report to whatever station you had and listen to the announcements on what to do in a real emergency.
That is so much better than standing on the deck in either hot or cold weather. As for that picture of the snow piled up on the deck - No Thanks. The Southern Caribbean is the place to be and not New York Harbor!!! |
