Anyone else in Lake Deaton yet?
 

We close and move in next week. I'm wondering if we're the first (and only?) in Lake Deaton. Cable service isn't even available as yet. I may actually have to talk to my wife! :)

Ah well, given the amazing pace of construction in TV, I assume the entire neighborhood will be filled in shortly.

I've been speaking with Lysander about BHN service for the house. It sounds like they're close to being ready.

I will bet you in 24 months or less you will remember your post and laugh as the Lake Deaton area will be built out.

Sure. Here's the directions by car:
- Take Buena Vista south to Hillsborough Trail (1st circle past Evans Prairie)
- Follow to Warnock Road (third street, as I recall), turn right

I'm not certain where Hillsborough ends and Lake Deaton starts, but if you follow Warnock Road, you'll come across the new neighborhood pool for Lake Deaton. Just past the pond is the entrance to the Premier Homes neighborhood on your left. I think they are building a Designer Home neighborhood on the pond on the right side of Warnock.

We were looking at the new area's the other day and found that area. There was one house that had a new resident.

Ah, then we're not the very first. No big deal, it's not like I get a cookie for being first, anyway. :)

We arrived Saturday and are looking forward to our Closing this Friday. POD should arrive Friday as well, then the flurry of unpacking, furniture delivery, and room setup begins!

We rode through the neighborhood yesterday and did see one other home occupied. I just couldn't believe how quickly the homes pop up, though. The entire neighborhood will go from bare earth to complete in a handful of weeks. Amazing.

We are arriving next week to but a designer. Are they being built in Lake Deaton? Cant see anything on the web site about LD.

I believe our sales representative (Anthony Filone) thought the homes on the pond across from the Lake Deaton pool would be designer homes. Since they have yet to break ground there, things could change, though. Best to check with a rep - but even they might not have solid info. The Developer is famously tight-lipped about future developments.

Our neighbor just sold there house within days and will be moving to Lake Deaton when the house is finished in a month. They are also from Michigan.
They will move to a St. Charles on the pond and we wish them well.
