How do we go about getting seat belts installed? We have a much older cart, it that matters....thanks

Most cart service people can do it. However make sure that they are not anchored to the seat, as I have seen.
They must be anchored to some part of the cart that can withstand impact.

I have retractable seatbelts mounted on a bar that came out an older club car cart. Will sell for $75. give me a call @ 804-436-6833.

The Villages Golf Cart store will install non-retractable seat belts for $50.

they attached the belts to my friend's seat.

Used a friends gas 03 Yammi 3 yrs. ago; didn't have retractable belts & somehow the belt fell into the engine compartment & started to get caught on the drive belt. I found the problem early & thank God there was no damage done.
Get RETRACTABLE BELTS!

Same here. ( They were attached to the seat back frame.)

Anybody know who will install golf cart seat belts at your home?

I just had retractable seat belts installed in my golf cart and I am really happy with them. Suggest you contact Larry Newman at AAA Golf Carts at (352) 288-1192 office or (352) 572-3090 cell. It cost me $125 for the 2 front seats. When I checked about getting them from The Villages Golf Cart store, they indicated they only sold the non-retractable type and I didn't want those belts laying around on the seat while I was golfing or just me in the cart. They are a reputable company and do a lot of business in The Villages so you don't have to worry about "being ripped off".

If you have Ultimate seats your only choice is lap belts. We tried 2 installers and talked to others and retractable is not an option.
We have the laps which is still better than none.

Retractable belts are $115 online. Easy to install: drill a 3/8" hole in each seat-back post.
