Need Gastroenterologist recommendation
 

Second diverticulitis attack in two weeks.
Was hospitalized last year up north for this, and need to find a good Dr.
Does anyone have a good Gastroenterologist Dr. they can recommend? Thank you.

I see Dr. Sarah Glover at Shands in Gainsville. The entire Bowel Disease department there is amazing and they are right in there with the newest treatments, etc. Good Luck

Mariana DeJong,MD. She is my doctor and a very good one.Cares about her patients.

Without going into a lot of details, avoid the gastro Dr. on 441 north of Walmart's. He runs a colonoscopy clinic. He has no regard for his patients.

we have used Dr. Tom Matthew with Ocala Gas. group and have been very impressed. My husband has Crohns and he has been very agressive and knowledgable about the disease and updated treatment. I am going to use him next after having Colon cancer. he came highly recommeded.

That's a pretty strong statement. To be helpful, a statement like this needs alot of clarification. Details are important. Additionally, there are at least two seperate gastro offices within a couple of blocks in the area referred to.
