Nebraska

We enjoyed the movie, but not for everyone. I can't tell you the last time I paid to see a movie in black and white.

My boys got me "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" for Christmas this year. Very funny if you've never seen it. And of course "Young Frankenstein" is a classic. Ok those aren't the same genre and now that I think about it there really old.:o

We saw Nebraska yesterday and found it very entertaining. Bruce Dern was outstanding and Will Forte did a good job. The mother was a hoot. I found it both poignant and funny and a great study of human nature.

The mother played the wife of Schmitt in the movie "About Schmitt" starring Jack Nickolson, one of my favorite movies.

I finally saw Nebraska today. Even though the movie is black and white, I found it very entertaining and well acted. It has some sad moments and some touching moments, but it also has some hilarious bits. As Ed said, it was a great study of human nature. And the mother was a hoot.

It is now out in Redbox. I saw it for the second time this week and enjoyed it as much as the first.

What is Redbox? Is that like Netflix?
