Actually, believe it or not, I use it in my middle school classes. Students respond to me through tweets. We also use it for class discussions while not in class. Awesome tool!

This surprises me, not because of a teacher's use of tools that work, but because the teacher's and the students' identities are out there and available on the web.

It seems like student privacy and confidentiality, and personal safety regarding their physical whereabouts, would preclude the use of it for school.

Here is how I see it playing out VillagesPl. I tweet and tell her I enjoy the show and think she is a great actress and I live in The Villages.


She answers me back and invites me over to her house to meet her mom and grandpa the next time she is home in The Villages.


I say good. I can thank him for my house.

Who is Megan Boones?

Megan is one of the stars of The Blacklist...a TV show about an FBI agent who went to the "dark side," is now working for the "good side," and an agent he insists he work with. Megan is that agent....she is also Gary Morse's granddaughter, Jennifer parr's daughter.

Works really well. Students and parents sign a electronic code of conduct. I have not had one misconduct issue yet. I also conduct what is know as a flipped classroom. Students watch my "lectures" on their own time by way of webcasts and a web based classroom page. They often take notes with their phones by pictures or quicknotes. Pretty cool stuff. They also still write traditional research papers and all the stuff we all grew up with.
