Residential Lanais

While visiting TV we noticed a lot of moisture on the outdoor patio furniture each morning. We're wondering if the enclosed residential lanai has the same situation, does the fabric/ lamps etc. sustain any moisture. Also, when enclosing the lanai with either plastic or glass are you then able to leave the door to the interior of the home open and enjoy the room without losing air conditioning or heat ? What about maintaining the temperature of the lanai once it has been enclosed.

Thanks for your input. ;D

We enclosed our lanai with glass last March and have no moisture problem at all - our lanai faces north - we leave the patio door to the main part of the house all the time and we have a pocket door to the bedroom which we leave open most of the time - we love it!!!

no dirt or wind unless we want it

Ours has the vinyl windows. There is a ceiling fan and an A/C heat vent going out there. In the summer it gets pretty warm but I think if we left the door open more it would be cooler. No problem at all with moisture. Love it and when kid visit they want to stay out there.
