A child star who succeeded as an adult. A child adulated by millions. An adult admired by all who knew her. She will be missed.

I tried to link to Shirley Temple singing "On the Good Ship Lollipop" but couldn't do it. RIP Shirley Temple. You were loved by my parents generation and by my generation.

I echo your sentiments. She was precocious and adorable and brought a smile to everyone's face. I've often wondered what became of her.

Thanks for the notice. I have such fond memories of her. Still watch her
movies when they come on.

This is so sad. I watched her movies on Saturday mornings. She was so cute and smart. Reminds me of granddaughter.

One of the cutest kids ever and grew to be an accomplished diplomat, mother and grandmother.
