I am new to the Villages and need a dentist. Any recommendations?

I did see a recommendation on another thread by Graciegirl. I'll try to find it.

My wife and I use First Impressions Dental Care, next to Bealls by Lowes on 441/27 in
Summerfield. Dr. Cheryl Pisano is great, nothing but good things to say. The shoe staff
is terrific. Kim the Dental Hygienist is really good. You pay up front and if you have dental insurance they submit it for you. The #s are 352-364-0064 or 866-324-5330
Also if you decide to use them you get $50 off the first visit and I would too as a referral.

She (Gracie) recommended Palm Ridge Dental. I went there and really liked the staff

My husband just started seeing Dr. Luong at Serenity Dental in Spanish Springs. He really liked her and the staff.

Will open an office this summer in Lake Sumter Landing.

Palm Ridge Dental on 101. Dr. Kathleen Williams is my dentist and my husband sees her partner. Both excellent dentists ------- the whole office and dental staff is excellent.

She is also Gracie's dentist.

Absolutely. Dr PELLOSIE at HERITAGE dental is wonderful as are her assistants. In the last 2 weeks I was in the dental chair a total of almost 4 hours the experience was pain free. The office staff is wonderful also. We were referred to them by the people that do their crowns and bridges so that being said they know the work they do! They are located on Teague Trail just down 441 from SAMs club. Just say Dolores referred you on totv

We have been in The Villages for 4 years and have not found a competent Dentist. Went to Village Dental: office and equipment was impressive, care was terrible. All they want is to get your money. I was advised I needed crowns on front teeth at a cost of $6K. Went back to my dentist back home and after examination, nothing was needed. Beware of Village Dental!

During a crown replacement Dr. Luong had a trainee working with her for my session. Dr. Luong was offended that I asked if we could stop the training session because I felt anxious about it. There wasn't any real compassion from her when she said that she wants to have her people trained her way. She didn't get that I didn't want to be on the receiving end of a training session. I don't plan on going back to see Dr. Luong at SDS.

The Billing Department argued with me when I informed them that they had not submitted a $75 bill to my insurance. I called my insurance to have them contact Dr. Luong's SDS office to get the bill submitted. Too much trouble!
