Long Island Club - Late Breaking News
 

Hello Long Islanders - we are pleased to announce that effective late today:

The Long Island Club is an officially recognized club of The Villages

We have been assigned a banquet room in the Eisenhower Rec Center for a monthly meeting. Dates and times for our monthly get togethers to be announced soon.

As a reminder - anyone from Long Island and the 5 boros is welcome to join our group.

If you are not currently in our member database, please feel free to private message me and provide me with your name/names, email address, telephone # and where you're from on Long Island and I will add you to our listing.

I'm pretty sure we will do all methods of information including email, TOTV, facebook and the rec center news.

It was a frustrating process for Diane to get the approvals, but she did it. :bigbow:

The big deal was to score Eisenhower Rec Center.:coolsmiley:

We have a "steering committee" in place and will meet next week to plan our next activities and events.

Also someone stepped up to be treasurer.
It has been suggested that in order to get things going financially a $5 pp. annual dues be paid by members.
