Have not been to Mt Dora yet, but sounds like a very nice town. Further proof that crime and stupid criminals are everywhere. She was lucky not to have woken him up herself. Gad.

Sounds like drugs again...

A real Einstein.

Some years ago when we lived in California someone in the next street woke up to a man standing at the foot of their bed yelling what are you doing in my house. He had gotten drunk and let himself in to what was two years before his home. The people hadn't changed the keypad code on the garage when they bought.

I am amazed at the stupidity of some criminals.

A guy when to rob a bank and presented a withdrawal slip with a written note, "to hand over all the money". The teller was on automatic pilot and asked for his drivers license before looking at the slip. The robber handed her his drivers license.

Needless to say, he was arrested at his home, a short time after. DOH!!!!

We had rental property in Virginia. Checked the place after doing many repairs and painting. I walked in the bedroom to check my previous painting--looking right up where I trimmed the walls to the ceiling--tripped over someone on the floor. I screamed for my husband who was unloading the truck and still outside. He came in and blocked the guy in the room (hubby was a police officer at that time)--long story short--an arrest was made--The suspect even stole the refrigerator and took it outside and hid it behind a tree. The tree was a pine tree about 1 foot wide. I am guessing in his drug induced state--the tree looked much larger!!
Guess after "hiding" the fridge--he needed a nap!!
