Help with headlight brightness on our gas golf cart

Hi. We bought a 2014 Yamaha Gas Golf Cart and when driving for the first time at night, found how ineffective the headlights are on it. You can barely see the path ahead when driving home. Is there an option to the headlights that come on it? We definitely need something brighter. I think my flashlight would even help! We stopped at The Golf Cart Store and inquired and were told that they have these small little LED lights that they install under the front to shine outward and the cost installed is about $230. I'm hoping there is a lesser expensive alternative than that. And then we're getting more LED lights (which is what is on our cart). Not much a fan of them after using these on our cart! Thank you in advance for any info you can give me.

We do have a adjustable led light bar the is bright, adjustable as to not blind on comers and efficient that will not draw a large amount of energy.
I suggest you fist us and take a look.

We have a similar problem with our 2014 Yamaha but we think the headlights need to be adjusted. The light hits the ground to close to the front of the cart. We think if it was adjusted to aim further down the road we would see better. How can we adjust them?

They do not adjust on that model.

Lights that are not adjusted properly is the real cause of dangerous driving conditions.
Auto lights of today are very bright and also well adjusted or else we would all be blinded.
The carts of today with tinted windshields need an appropriate and well adjusted light system.

My husband had the same issue. I asked at the The Villages Golf Cart store about whether they can be adjusted because it looks like they shine in different directions and they said yes. Hafta make an appt., because they only do that at Lake Sumter store. I am waiting till I take it in for first oil change. I'd call them and ask.

Oh...ours is a 2013, bought last May, so maybe the 2014 doesn't adjust...just sayin'.

Having the same problem on our 2014 Yamaha. Replacing the tinted windshield with a clear one.

A clear windshield will help.
