Yahoo has hijacked my home page...how to get rid of it?
Recently my home page started opening to yahoo web site.
I went back into my options in Mozilla Firefox and changed the home page back to the one I prefer. No problem except when I close Firefox and open again later it has replaced my home page with Yahoo. I have been unable to find where or how to disable yahoo. Any suggestions appreciated. |

I had that happen to me also. It was certainly annoying. I had to switch to Firefox because I couldn't use my bank's website with Explorer anymore on my new laptop. Not sure why since it worked on my old laptop. I personally hate any updates since it usually means I will have no idea what to do.

Try following this link. This should reset Firefox to make it save your settings.

I had the same problem and had to resort to restoring my computer software to an earlier set-point date to get rid of it. The Yahoo Toolbar is especially aggravating - to me it's nothing more than malware. I dislike everything Yahoo for that reason.
