I got through TWO of them but I need a Kleenex. Thank you dear Quirky. |
I love these. In the Jewish religion, during the celebration of the Passover holiday, it is traditional to open the front door during the Seder to let the prophet Elijah enter, and in fact a glass of wine is poured for him in a special cup and left on the table. When I returned from Viet Nam in 1970, it was during Passover. After landing at JFK I took a cab to my Grandma's house in Brooklyn where I knew the entire family would be. I waited outside her door until they opened it for Elijah, and I walked in. I don't think my Mom and Dad ever forgave me for that! There were lots of hugs and tears that night.

Your mom and dad are wonderful. I know this because, anytime that you can help someone you try to find a way. You are always first to do this on this forum.
Blessings to them and to you, BarryRX |
