Kids and Grandkids

How often do we have kids in The Villages? It's worth to open a business related to Kids at The Villages once its a retirement community?

I don't understand your post. BTW, there are businesses in TV that rent kid things, etc.

You could start by looking at the advertisers on TOTV.
Then there is always Google. Just type in the business you want, followed by the zip code.
A "Build a Bear" store most likely would not work!

that's what I am doing :) Also will take some time to run around The Villages and look for this kind of stores: for kids!
I am trying google it, but didn't find anything yet. At least I am getting good quotes about the summer camp, which I hope I can have my kids participating if I became one of The Villages contributor...
and yes: for sure Build a Bear won't work lol.... but thank you so much for your tips, will continue working on it :)

How about Monkey's Joe's? It's good exercise, can be done on a rainy day, and kids from 2 to 12 love the place. There's family housing in TV. The squares and shops are open to the general population. They also could patronize the location.

Then it turns to The Villages is an over 55 community. Could your business be located close to the family housing area? When I wear my Nana hat I love the idea of a kid friendly place. Then it's kind of like having dogs in restaurants and not everyone thinks that is an appropriate place. You may want to ask the question on this forum what people think about a kid friendly type of establishment.

This is a deed restricted community. Children under the age of 19 can visit no more than 30 days per year. I don't know if you knew that.

:agree:

It's a nice thought, but I don't know if enough kids visit here, to substain such a business.

Children in The Villages

Children under 19 are permitted to visit up to 30 days per year, per child.

My granddaughter is 7 and she lives 10 minutes out of the Villages. She is on a Soccer Team goes to elementary school on Rolling Acres Road. Plenty of children on the outskirts. I wonder how many of our children and grandchildren came with us or/and followed us.

Oh and yes, always looking for things to do for her and not have to go to Ocala or Orlando
