Make your garage door more secure

Most people think that their automatic garage door is secure when closed. However, a burglar can open that door within six seconds. This video demonstrates how you can foil that intruder for less than a buck:

Check your garage door. Our hinge opens inwards, so someone trying to snag it from outside wouldn't be able to open it. You have to be standing inside the garage and pull down toward the house, away from the door, as opposed to pulling toward the door.

Mine also is hinged pointing toward the door and if you slip a jimmy up under the door, you can unlock it by pushing on the hinge or by hooking the rope and pushing the rope toward the back of the garage.

Geez, I think that would be really hard to do. We actually don't see two holes big enough to put one of those plastic ties through on ours. I'm just going to go with the deadbolt on the door into the house from the garage and plan on what car I'll replace the stolen one with, which will be white not black.:evil6:
