Convertible Club

We just drove our convertible to The Villages. Does anyone know if there is a convertible club and if so, do you know the contact information....thanks

There definitely is and last I heard membership was by a waiting list. Very popular apparently. Depending on the type of vehicle you have you may find a club specific to your car.

Membership was frozen as of 1/1/14 at over 500. Meeting room size and just the number of members seemed to be the problem. My understanding is that they will open membership each year to replace non-renewals. Membership this year is $20 per couple. It is a very active club with several events and activities planned each month.
To get on the waiting list contact Barb Claussen, treasurer and membership chair, at www.barbc7322@yahoo.com

If you happen to have a Miata, I know the president of the Miata Club. He just started it last year, so I doubt if it is full yet.

We were members but the club was too large and had limited numbers for the events. We were only able to participate in two events during the year so we dropped out. They had great trips but with such a large membership it became unmanageable.

There are also several car based clubs; vettes, Mini Cooper, Sebring, to name a few. The Daily Sun runs a listing of all the car clubs and the club contacts each week in their "automotive section" either Fri or Sat.

Just moved here in mid December. I have a Sebring convertible and would like the contact information for this group. Can anyone help?

Sebring Club

Nice group of people that meet 2nd Thursday of the month at Pimlico Center at 7 p.m. Meetings are short and used to plan up coming trips which are usually once a month.

I hope I get the website correct...if not message me.

Comcast

Hope to see you there.

the only ridiculous car club I've heard of is the mustang club, they recently took a BUS trip to Biloxi....certainly hope it was at least a ford bus :pepper2: :a20::loco::MOJE_whot::MOJE_whot:

The Convertible Club membership is currently closed because we doubled our membership last year and could not keep up. If you would like to get on the wait list, please send an email to Jan Brown, our secretary at vccjanbrown@gmail.com. (Do not send it to Barb Claussen as mentioned in a previous post).

We are working to implement a new system that will drastically reduce the administrative work of the club and we hope to have it running smoothly by summer or fall and that, plus scheduling duplicate trips will help us to manage the club in a way that all members can enjoy it.

Is there an SSR Club?
