Are there wireless hot spots, like starbucks, to access the internet in TV?

Hi,

I believe that Panera Bread at Spanish Springs offers wireless access.

I am sure others could give you more.

All the regional recreation centers have wireless internet. You will need your village ID # and your PIN #

Just A Comment On How Quickly WIreless Has Been Adopted

This question a year or so ago could have been answered that Savannah Center was about the only wi-fi hot spot. Now all the regional rec centers are so equipped. Barnes & Noble has joined Starbucks and others as hot spots (although I don;t know if they're all free.)

Just another example of when there's a reasonable demand by residents, the developer makes things happen.

Re: Wireless hot spots

Maybe I'm just cheap...but I won't consider a wi-fi hotspot unless it's free.

Anyway Panera's Denny's, most libraries, free, Starbucks, and some other places, not free.

When I vistited Planet Smoothie last week I noticed they have FREE wireless. Starbucks had it as well but was told you have to pay for it >:(

Re: Wireless hot spots

I picked it up from the car while parked outside of Planet Smoothie on 441 and on another evening sat on the side porch outside of Panera's in Spanish Springs and picked it up fine. So you don't actually have to go in.

Re: Wireless hot spots

We use wireless mobile technology and can be online anywhere anytime. about $50 per month for unlimited access. We use the laptop on the road for work which makes it a must have.

Re: Wireless hot spots

For those who take The Villages Survey and want more WiFi access > add a comment to the survey to have the Villages expand Wireless hotspots to all the Rec centers in addition to the regional rec center that now have WiFi. This could help more residents reduce/eliminate their internet bill and save on gas or battery KWhs.

Crispers also has a free hot spot.
I've sat in their side parking lot and used it many times.

Dennys on 441 also has WIFI. You can sit in their parking lot and connect for free.

Hi, we just returned from a river cruise in France and there the Mc Donalds all have free wifi. I do not know if this is true in the US.

Re: Wireless hot spots

Some McDonalds do have WiFi, but it was not free at the ones I visited.
