Trader Joes's

Good news tonight on Wesh 2. Volusia County is planning a huge warehouse distribution plant for Trader Joe's around Rt 95 and Dunn St. and will employ 450 in that location. So that must mean more stores than Miami, Gainesville Tampa and Winter Park. Time to put the pressure on with polite emails and calls now. Soooo tired of driving toGainesville.

We have never been in a Trader Joes. But all I hear is compliments and good things.

They really must be wonderful.

I never heard of Trader Joes, until I saw discussions on TOTV. Tell me more!!! Is it equal to other stores in the area?

Looks like Trader Joes is definitely going into Winter Park, which makes sense. Probably not too much closer than Gainesville, maybe by a few minutes only. But Winter Park is a lovely area to visit with other great stores as well and wonderful restaurants. Just noticed that Whole Foods is also being built in Winter Park as well.

It's better. It's exciting. Trader Joe's has stuff that nobody else has - and it's all good. and good prices

Here's another link that will answer some questions about why all the hype about TJ's... its a CA based company, so I've taken them for granted for so many years, but they are probably a neat store to visit if your not used to them.

Makes you wonder what similar products carry different labels.

That's what I miss about home. Wegmans and Trader Joes.

villager 03-07-2014 04:38 PM

Actually Trader Joes and Aldi are owned by two different brothers.

While I enjoy patronizing Trader Joe's, Bristol Farms http://www.bristolfarms.com and Gelson's https://www.gelsons.com/about/company/index.asp , my favorite food store by far is is Central Market. http://www.centralmarket.com/Home

You are forgiven if your mouth waters while checking out any of their websites!
