Sumter Grand
 

I read about a facility for independent living called Sumter Grand. What is nice about this facility is that at least some of the units will have access to The Villages amenities. This facility is currently being built. I think this would be a great place if you did not want the responsibility of keeping up a home but still wanted to use The Village amenities. I emailed them last week but have not gotten a reply. Do any of you folks on the forum have more information? Do any of you know what the approximate rent would be? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Seems to me if they want your business, they would reply to your email. Perhaps a phone call would get a better response. it looks like it's really coming along.

All of Sumter Grand units come with amenities - you have to pay the same amenities fees as any other resident. Amenities are optional at SumterPlace as many of the residents aren't up to using the amenities.

It is owned and operated by the same folks who run SumterPlace - a class operation all the way.
