What days can I water?

I'm sure this question has been asked and answered before but I can't find any references to it. How do I find out what days of the week I can water my lawn? I am in Sumpter County (Village of Summerhill).

Just found the article in yesterdays daily sun, see link below:

Lots of info.

That helps, but I'm not sure which district we are in.

what days do they pick up your trash?

There might be a sticker on your irrigation control-box in the garage that states the days and time that you are supposed to water.

You are either in Lake County or Districts 1-10, you don't need to know which district you are in.

What day you water does depend on which district you are in (unless I am reading something wrong).

CDD 1-10 irrigation schedules

Thanks for the information. Based on the maps, etc., we are in District 3 (sounds a bit like Hunger Games) and I can water on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Good for you, your better off not watering during the day. Don't forget to set your alarm clock , or have the person who is up @ 3:00 AM to give you a jingle.:beer3:

I set my iPhone calendar to alert me the night before the irrigation is to come on. If we have had rain I check to see if the sensor is damp or dry. I often just turn it off. Too much water is worse than not enough! I save and it makes me and my lawn happier! :lipsrsealed:
