Roller Skating in TV
 

Have to put this question out there. Don't know if this is the right place or not. Are there any roller saters in TV? I don't mean in-line, but quad skates, doing the kind of skating we did as teenagers--to organ music (now I'm dating myself!!)

I know that there is a rink in Leesberg, but do they have an adult skate sessions? The rink I go to here has an adult "Coffee Skate" twice a week during the day for such skaters.

I actually remember seeing something about an in-line recreational skating club in TV. Is that correct? Funny thing ~ the first time I ever saw TV, back in 1998 or so, my kids skated (in-line speed) a marathon through the streets of TV right around Spanish Springs. I remember there was much construction going on. Also remember thinking, "When I retire, I want part of this place". Does anybody there remember that event? It was only one day, we were there for the day and prior to that, the kids skated an in-door competition up in Ocala that was 2 days long.

I'd be interested in hearing if there is a roller rink (besides the one in Ocala) close to TV.

There is one such club listed in the Villages' list of various social clubs-- http://www.districtgov.org/images/ClubsListing.pdf

It is under Rolllerblading.

Only thing I see listed is for rollerblading. No what I'm looking for.
