Finally new executive courses

I noticed yesterday that it appears they have started on the new executive courses on Morse Blvd. behind the Sarosota golf facility and fire house. We have all been waiting for these 3 executive courses to be built. Won't help this winter but should next!

According to my NEW map, they will be close to the NEW Villages of LaBelle and Osceola Hills. My map doesn't name the courses though.

GG. They might be referring to Sarasota, Escambia, & Volusia. Right off Morse near the fire station. The guy driving the dozer has been working morning til night grading the area. Today they dropped off large pipes. It's interesting watching it unfold.

Thank you Morse Family for providing these excellent activities for a very reasonable cost, available no where else on this planet.

I heard these courses are on the sight of an old dump. They probably can't do too much grading if it was indeed a dump or landfill. It should be interesting to watch it take shape, and see what they can do with the area they have to work with.

My understanding a construction dump is to the east of the Sarosota Driving Range. It is not a garbage dump.

I believe the Golf course designer knows what he is doing. The three courses are named Sarasota, Escambia and volusia.

I am so happy to see the new courses being built. With the population in TV rapidly increasing it is getting harder and harder to get a tee time.

Hopefully, it will be well over a year before they're open. Construction will be ongoing through the coming growing season. They will slide into dormancy soon after planting, and any attempt at opening before the next growing season will result in poor conditions for years. Let them mature !! Don't rush the opening like Palmetto and Bonifay.

Hi Gracie
Where did you get a NEW map? did you download it from somewhere? I'd like to see the new layout.

Thanks
Jane

I'm sure Property of The Villages can help you. Map is $5

The 2013 Villages Street Map shows the 3 new exec courses as well as the new 27 hole championship course just south of the exec courses. The new maps should be for sale at any Country Club pro shop.

As far as I can tell, these are the last 3 exec. courses planned. Does anyone know any different? Still a lot of houses to be built.

I have heard the new Fruitland Park area will have two executive courses. Actually, I think I read it somewhere here on TOTV.

Here is the truth. Sweetie picked up litter from the golfcart path on 466 and it was the new map.
