Back pages at Talk of The Villages
 

I want to remind all guests and members here that there are 40 back pages in this one forum for you to look at. This is just one page. At the top right and bottom right of the forum page, you will see little numbers, 1,2,3,.....40. Click on any one of those numbers to see topics that have been discussed in past days and weeks. Fee free to comment on any of them and they will move back to the top position and perhaps have a whole new life. There are thousands of posts about all kinds of interesting topics here in the Villages. Please, don't limit yourself to just this one page. You will see only the numbers, 1, 2, and 3. When you click on 3, then 4 will appear on the next refresh, then 5, then 6 and so on.
Some of the, of course, are old an no longer have relevance, but many are still interesting.

not sure if it's just me but i tend to only see and thus reply to the topics that appear on my first screen so even this post by talk host was gone within minutes when i came back to see exactly what was being talked about in terms of how to walk through old pages.i had to search hard to find it. seems like poor message board design to me.

when i tried previous page from this thread it jumped all the way back to a november discussion on advertising versus recommending vendors/services posts.doesn't seem like a a very useful way to see recent topics.

I have no way to explain that. Every topic ever posted on this board is still visible. Why yours would be disappearing is a mystery to me.

Thanks Talk Host! I had read all the previous pages when I registered in July. Am trying to keep up daily. It is very easy to search by topic and find the answers you need.

I have read a lot of the back pages. Like to get to know other posters too my looking at their last posts and going a way back. ;D
