So I saw a similar question about "what wine are you enjoying right now". I just opened a Rogue Dead Guy and it is really quite good. So I was wondering what are some of the really good beers you've had recently. I really like Arrogant B@stard Ale and Chimay blue as well.

Dogfish head 90 Minute, Lefthand Milk Stout, and Ravenous Coffee Milk Stout.

I am not a beer drinker. I had one once sitting on the swim platform of our boat in MI because it was 90+ degrees out and I was realllllllllllllly hot. It was India Pale Ale, and I put ice in the glass. I think it was 2004. It was pretty good. And I've had sips of my kids' Bells on occasion. But not too big on beer.

HOWEVER, we took our kids to World of Beer in December, and I asked the waitress what would go well with my meal. She brought Delirium Tremens in a so-neat hour-glass/vase-shaped glass. I think it was the best-tasting liquid I've ever had in my life. (Well... maybe except for Hershey's chocolate syrup.) If I could find the beer, and the glass, I could see myself drinking a glass of this stuff a few times a week.

World of Beer has some really good ones, but Boddington for me is the best. Garvinos has it by the can and some WOB's have it on tap. They did not have it at the Brownwood location last time I was there, however they did say they planned to.

I just finished a six-pack of Dale's Pale Ale that I bought at The Fresh Market. Really good stuff.

My wife also enjoyed the Delirium Tremens at WOB. She has since bought more from ABC Liquors. I like IPA's personally and I'm not a great fan of Belgium beers. However, if she likes it then it's worth the trip (and the price) to ABC Liquors. There are so many great beers today that it's difficult to understand why American pilsners, which all taste pretty similar, are still so popular.

American pilsners are popular with beer drinks who consume volumes at a cheaper price Compared to craft beers which have a higher price

Pat I'm not a fan of your Lefthand Milk Stout, boy that stuff was thick. Based on that I'm nervous to try the Dogfish you named. I'll have to look for it out and try a pint.

CFrance I forgot you spent time in MI. Bells has a lot of really great brews. I think their Oberon comes out soon. I would recommend that to anyone if you happen to see it.

Wine is my drink of choice but on occasions when I drink beer its Magic Hat #9 or Blue Moon ( draft only ). Looking forward to trying some different beers on those hot summer days at World of Beer.

I like Stella Artoise, brewed in Belgium.

I usualy drink Rolling Rock, as it is a very light beer, and I like spring water type beers.

Some people think specialized beers, (micro brewery), India Pale Ale, is very good, and the way to go. :beer3:

Hey BS -- have to agree with you on the AB Ale. I live about 50 miles from Stone Brewry and love to get down there for a tour and a few growlers.

Hope I can find some Stone beers when we move to TV.
