What is all the construction on 44 west of Brownwood?

Here is one of many thread discussing this construction to the nth degree.

It's very strange. There was a full set of plans for Grand Traverse Plaza available to view online that Papa gave in the thread Bogie supplied a link for. That was on Feb. 8, 2014. However, if you go to that link now, you get an error message that it is either moved, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

There is definitely a large parking lot going in down there, but no telling what it's for. It's right next to what appears to be more TV building--they've put up TV-type walls close to the street.

The front area( nearest 44 is s strip with Publix and the usual assortment of smaller stores. A large portion of the back area all the way up to 44a has been added to district 10 (numbered districts are all residential) and will be villa construction.

So why didn't the guy from TV just say that, instead of being so closed-mouth about it? He could have said, "There's no mall going in, but there will be a strip mall." He was a little disingenuous. Unless the news report didn't give the whole story.

Grand Traverse is an "up North" Michigan place (and bay of Lake MI), near to where the developer's family is from. So are Brownwood and Torch Lake Dr. Does TV own this property?
