What's the big fuss about the movie The Golden Compass?
 

As a Lutheran, I did not quite get the big fuss about the movie The Golden Compass? Was kind of bored by it. Of course, I have not read any of the His Dark Materials books which look like a whole different story?

If I were brought up a Catholic, this could be a different story.

The movie the Golden Compass is at the Old Mill Playhouse here in TV.

Being a door to door Norman it look ok to me also but I did not read the move yet
