Where can I buy ground poppyseed?
 

It's time to plan for my Easter baking and I'd like to make poppyseed and nut rolls. Is there a local store where I can find freshly ground poppyseed by the pound? My family doesn't use the premade fillings such as those made by Solo. I'd like to carry on our ethnic tradition. Thanks.

A spice mill or coffee grinder will do the trick.

There is a Polish deli in Leesburg that carries ground poppyseed - good quality and price. They are on 441 on the left side in a strip mall not to far
after 441/27 splits.
