OBG Country Club Restaurant reopening when?

I know this question has been asked months before but is there any indication when the OBG CC restaurant will reopen? Especially since OBG Golf Course is scheduled to close in April for several months for maintenance of greens etc... .

Nobody knows, or those that know aren't saying. Hopefully, OBG CC won't go the way of the Silver Lake restaurant, the Chula Vista restaurant and the Santiago restaurant.

ANd the answer is

WHEN someone who has the money signs the rental agreement.

It isn't magic and it isn't some conspiracy, for pete's sake.

That's pretty much it. I assume that the previous owner got out because he wasn't making money. If that is the case then something has to change to make someone think that they can make a go of it. In the meantime, all of us over on this side will have to go across the bridge to eat out.

I have a friend that has the original VCR from The Villages. It guarantees certain things and this restaurant is one of them. Could be a class action suit against the developer if any other people kept the old tape from the historic section.

Don't understand the mentality of anyone that would even consider that. That's most of what is wrong with today's society......litigation isn't always the answer. Suck it up and drive across the street.

Obg

Or eat Mexican or at Takis or Cracker Barrel. Without the bridge.

Didn't the article in the Sun today indicate the restaurant, pool, and hot tub would be closed along with the golf course for remodeling? I doubt that they would invest all that if there were no plans to reopen them. The article indicated they would open in the fall.
