Vents Blowing Open

Is it just me or are others having the same problem?
Our exhaust vents pop open on windy days. We hear the one over the toilet in master bathroom and the kitchen stove. The one in the kitchen exhausts to the side wall of house, Lily.

Any suggestions?

Yep ours too. Depend on which way the winds blowing. Nothing much you can do about it.
If you take it off ... bugs can crawl in and possible rain problems.
If you seal it ... then it won't vent, which is the reason it's there in the first place.

Could you add a small weight to the vent to give it more weight to stay closed, maybe tape a penny underneath ?? Just make sure it will open with the fan running.

Good indication that they're moving freely.

Go to a tire repair shop & ask for 2 or 3 USED tire weights. Pound flat. remove aluminum clip from weight, duct tape 1 or 2 pieces to the underside of the flapper.
I did this Up Nort on a dryer flap that would never close, & that was 3 yrs. ago.
Check yearly & replace duct tape as needed.
