12 various Cop Cars on Hwy 44 & 301
 

Sunday evening after 9PM coming back from Tampa through Wildwood, there were a dozen various law enforcement car on all three corners. Didn't see any accidents or cars.

Anyone know?

Is there a Dunkin Donut shop nearby?

So...It's 9pm on a Sunday night and they are out doing their job instead of being home with their families. Sounds like something I would do for a donut

2200 hrs at Lake Sumter Landing.....on 30 MAR-2014
...............at least 6 Sumter County Marked Patrol Cars in the Area.

2 or 3 were also at Old Mill Run and Buena Vista with "overhead lights activated".

No idea of what was happening.....but we sure do have police available
when needed.

Also, a couple of slick tops near the Lighthouse Restaurant.....
and at least 2 more slicktops near Sweetbay and 2 more behind TooJays.

With a total of at least 12 Marked and unmarked in the area.....
....makes you wonder.

Have never heard that term before - I'm presuming it means unmarked police cars?

Not necessarily unmarked, but no lights on top of car.
