Why don't we................because there isn't enough space for something like this

bkcunningham1 04-03-2014 04:25 PM

Why? Because if we had benches at the squares, they'd be roped off and people would be saving them. There wouldn't be a place for Criss Angel to ask people to lie down. ;~)

Shimpy 04-03-2014 05:03 PM

WHY???? Because there is no line dance for this.

Bogie Shooter 04-03-2014 07:42 PM

Partial explanation.

Instead of posting your question on this site and getting all kinds of opinions!
Why not contact the Entertainment Diretor in The Villages they will be able to provide you with the correct answer

What fun would that be?

If you get Chris Angel at the Square, then I want Willie Nelson there.
Although it might be a tad beyond the Entertainment Department's Budget.

Our emergency rooms could not handle all the fainting seniors.

Why, he was at the Savanna Center?

Yep and tickets were $125. I suppose if we could get 1,000 people to pay $125 each to see Chris Angel do one trick in a square we might be able to get him.

bkcunningham1 04-04-2014 04:37 PM

Mitt Romney was at Market Square at Sumter Landing and people didn't believe me and someone else when we said we saw him. Do you think anyone would believe Criss Angel was at the square? Or that people were cut in half and lived?

Barefoot, Willie Nelson was at Silver Springs in February.

Ah, I feel a lawyer joke coming up from the surface like the Great White Shark in jaws. "We are going to need a bigger boat" for these.

Seniors- liability- heart attacks! Not to mention grandkids who would not be prepared to see something like a person "ripped" apart.

This is hardly the age of the punishment of William Wallace where he was pretty much ripped apart in front of a crowd that probably had senoirs, kids, women and many other people. Not just soldiers used to the very bloody sights of medieval warfare.
