Anyone have interesting stories of great volunteering experiences? Any special groups that need volunteers?

The Mark Twain Library seems to generate a lot of good will from how it handles volunteers. I believe it is a library run by volunteers??

Todays Daily Sun has a list of places to volunteer. It is in the Lifesyles section. Phone numbers are included.
