Golf cart sitting outside

This is my first of many posts since my introduction. I am wondering if anyone leaves their golf cart sit outside, in front of their garage, all of the time. We will have one car plus my hot rod, and not sure if we want to go to the extra expense of having a two car plus golf cart garage. I realize it won't be as secure, but.......? Thanks in advance. Bob

I know people who do it but they rarely drive their carts. To me, a golf cart garage is worth the expense. It will also give you some much-needed extra storage.

It seems to be easier to steal a golf cart left outside than a car. On the other hand, leaving a car outside all the time in the hot sun is not good for the paint job. I agree with redwitch about going the expense of the golf cart garage.

Think resale.

A guy told me he use to leave his extra car outside until he discovered vermin were nesting in. He brought it in

If you possibly can get the golf cart garage. You never have enough storage.

I leave mine out all the time, primarily because they are solar, but aside from that I want the room in golf cart garage for other stuff.

The paint can take it fine, wax it.

Vermin, yes! My sister's car started having such electrical problems that they could no longer drive it. Had it towed somewhere and it was discovered that the wiring had been eaten. They kept it in the driveway. Expensive repair.

Everyone comes from areas of different expectations. When we first moved here we left our car out in the driveway for some time in Hadley, we had the garage full of stuff and we were painting and fixing inside.

That is when I learned that some people here feel that leaving a vehicle in your driveway is an eyesore. So we quickly finished and garaged the car. Friends are very important to have. And when in Rome, don'tcha know?

I have a car cover for the car to be outside. No problems.
