Diane, thank you for a place where those of us who don't know the first thing about crocheting were able to begin learning. I'll definitely be back at the May 6th meeting.:smiley:

I can't wait to meet everyone at the May 6th meeting. I'm glad to hear so many people were willing to help others especially since I will be needing help. Too many clubs, card groups, etc don't want to teach newcomers. Both my husband and I have been hesitant to join things especially the card players. Such a shame since everyone was a beginner at some point in their life.
Hats off to Diane for setting up a club where all are welcome!

Our first get together was so friendly. I look forward to many more.

Could anybody tell me about hook &needle is it for cross stitching?

Hooks & Needles is for anything with a hook (crocheting) or a needle - knitting, cross stitch, embroidery, needlepoint - you name it. We welcome all. If a beginner, we'll get you going. If more experienced, hope you'll share your skills.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at Big Cypress from 10 to 12.
